Black Squirrel near the Mental Hospital
One of Toronto's famous black squirrels on a fence in the mental hospital grounds.
I think this squirrel is happy to see me.

Balcony Mooses
Off College Street near Kensington Market. These are remnants of one of those art projects where they give the same blank statue to various artists and have them paint or decorate it. There used to be a bunch of them all over the city but their numbers have dwindled.

Toronto Street Dog
A hot dog topped with onions, hot peppers and corn relish.
There are a lot of hot dog/sausage stands in Toronto, as that is the only type of street food currently allowed to be sold. They call it street meat! But they may change the law and I hope they do it soon.

Building Eats Smaller Building
This building always reminds me of a big square cthulu type monster eating something. Seriously, buildings on pillars with this much glass make me nervous. I guess it's because I come from earthquake country or something, but I think about stuff like that a lot. Then again, brick buildings seem so solid but unreinforced masonry just crumbles in an earthquake. That's why you don't see many brick buildings in California, most of them collapsed in some earthquake or another, and I think it's really expensive to build to code with bricks there now.

The Host
More movie posters. I like the green of this wall, it fits in well with the lake monster image on the poster. It looks like a pretty silly movie.

Dawn Taxi
Parkdale very early in the morning. When I took this there were a lot of people out who had obviously been out all night.

Soul Pepper Posters
Downtown, near Union Station. I took this while waiting for a train. I missed one, so I had time to take a walk waiting for the next one.

Sneaky Dees
At College and Bathurst. This is a Mexican restaurant (not great, but ok) and bar where a lot of bands play.
