Balcony Mooses

Mooses on a balcony, originally uploaded by Melsky.

Off College Street near Kensington Market. These are remnants of one of those art projects where they give the same blank statue to various artists and have them paint or decorate it. There used to be a bunch of them all over the city but their numbers have dwindled.

Mural by Stage

Mural by Stage, originally uploaded by Melsky.

This is another Mural by the Artist Stage. It's in front of the Andy Pool Hall on College Street. It's looking a little worse for wear, with some graffiti and paint chipping. Still, it's a beautiful painting and very appropriate for Little Italy.

You can see another Stage mural here, in much better shape.

Mural off Queen West

Mural off Queen West, originally uploaded by Melsky.

This is in the fashion design district area, hence the theme of the mural.

I love this artist's murals. He has another one on College Street.

After Closing

After Closing, originally uploaded by Melsky.

These are businesses in Kensington Market that are closed for the day, with interesting paintings on their metal night gates.

The painting on David's store is by Sati, it's his dog Chango.

Lions of Toronto

Lions of Toronto, originally uploaded by Melsky.

Lion statues on a fence near Queen West. I love these. Sometimes you find houses in Toronto with tons of statues and decorations in the yard.

Much nicer than my neigbours across the street who have three old toilets in the yard! I'm getting really tired of looking at those.

Street Art

Street Art, originally uploaded by Melsky.

This is on a light pole on College Street in Little Italy. Toronto has a large population of artists and a lot of street art.
