Parkdale very early in the morning. When I took this there were a lot of people out who had obviously been out all night.

Just a few views of Parkdale from Queen Street:

Parkdale Posters

Posters for Silverchair, Aerosmith, Just for Laughs festival, Korn, and Evanescence. I love the texture of the cement in the old buildings above the posters. This is Queen and Jameson.

Parkdale

Parkdale, originally uploaded by bitefight.

Good Catch is a store that I visited with my friend Sheryl. She was writing about them for a blog. It's a really cool place with a lot of organic food products, jewelry, art, pet stuff and other various things. Like a modern version of a good old fashioned general store. I want to show them my artwork, I think it would do well in there.

Queen and Roncesvalles

Queen and Roncesvalles, originally uploaded by Melsky.

If you continue straight you will be in Parkdale. The streetcar is going up Roncesvalles, a Polish/Eastern European neighbourhood with lots of great little produce markets.

Printing Printing Printing

Printing Printing Printing, originally uploaded by Melsky.

An old print shop on Queen street, Toronto

I love how the hole has been cut in the sign to fit in the air conditioner.

This place is not there anymore.
