I like the angles of the arches against the building and the way the ghost skaters whiz by.

Path through the Park
This is Trinity Bellwoods park, between Queen and Dundas streets. I used to live near there and this park is one of the few things I miss from that neighbourhood. It's a large park with lots of trees and you can really feel like you are out of the city for a few minutes as you stroll through.
I live near Dufferin Grove park now. That one is a bit smaller and it's elevated so you can always see and hear the Dufferin Street traffic. It's still a nice park. I'm glad it's right on my way to the library so I walk through it a couple of times a week.
I took this photo at dusk and modified it with Picasa, which is Google's image software. I wanted to take a lot more photos but it was raining and I was on my way to a friend's house for dinner.

University of Toronto
This is on College Street. Fall is my favourite time to walk around the campus. It's full of trees and a lot of the ivy also changes colors so you get this neon orange ivy at the right time of the year.
HDR The inheritors
I love the sky in this one! It makes that building look kind of ominous and dramatic, like it's the headquarters for a supervillan or something.

Bathurst Street
I love the colors in this photo. They remind me of the way photos from the early 70s look. The wires look almost like part of a spiderweb. It's a great representation of Toronto's busy urban core.

Gladstone Street
I took this on my way to the library. Gladstone Street is one of my favorite streets. Most of the houses are big traditional brick homes with nice front porches and there's a lot of trees, gardens and cats.

Printing Printing Printing
An old print shop on Queen street, Toronto
I love how the hole has been cut in the sign to fit in the air conditioner.
This place is not there anymore.
Dramatic Sky
This is the view through my window. The road you can see is actually an alley. This is in the area around College/Dufferin.

Toronto City Hall
This is Toronto city hall, also known as New Toronto city hall. I don't really like it much. It's one of those modern, modern buidings that tries too hard. It looks cold and standoffish when I think a lot of Toronto's charm is the older brick and stone buildings from a century ago. It looks cold to me.
In the summer there is a farmer's market held here and in winter, as you can see in the photo, there is ice skating. Sometimes bands play there on temporary stages. It reminds me a lot of Justin Herman plaza in San Francisco.
Street Art
This is on a light pole on College Street in Little Italy. Toronto has a large population of artists and a lot of street art.
